Disappointing food. Taco w/rice/beans $7.50. Beans very dry, rice was good! Taco meat (shredded beef) good. Taco looked like Taco Bell fare though. Ahi burrito....ahi very very fishy and we eat ahi all the time so what's with that? $12.50 for that??? Guacamole from Sam's club....I know because I buy it too! but $3 for a dollap?? Friends had tiny chile relleno...one for $$?? Another had just chips and salsa (great salsa!!) He was the smart one! COLD brews!! reasonable prices for mex beer $4. I love the decor, the service was fun (not serious, youthful attitude but good), even the chickens that had to be shoo'ed out were cool. Come on, Cholo's, you can do better! Haleiwa needs you!!
Pros: Cooool decor!!! great free parking.
Cons: Food substandard. It could be such a great place!!!!
