Kailua >Pizza Hut
Went to the evening buffet in the Kapolei store. The pizzas brought out were all the experimental type....beef w/grill peppers, chicken with something, onion/pepper/something, ONLY ONE PEPPERONI AND ONE CHEESE. ???? And the pepperoni was very very scarce...hardly any sauce either. (I worked at Pizza while in college and I know what the criteria is)
Another tourist customer asked if they made a Hawaii pizza and was told no. When paying I saw a pineapple/ham pizza being boxed.....no???
We complained to the cashier about the assortment or rather lack of it and she just mumbled 'we put a variety out' HOW ABOUT A VARIETY OF TRADITIONAL PIZZAS???
I called and complained and heard 'uh hum....yeah....uh hum' so many times I just hung up. I then wrote to their corporate manager here on Oahu (evidently not connected to mainland as website says 'no Pizza Huts in Hawaii) AND NO ANSWER. This is how to run a business???
$11 apiece.....never ever again.
This national chain is a household name, thanks to its deep-dish and stuffed-crust pies..
Kid-friendly eat-in restaurants and small takeout shops alike sport interiors done in the signature red and white with a touch of yellow. Orders are placed at the counter--whether customers choose to stay or go--and pies are baked per request. Pizzas--from the hand-tossed to the twisted crust--dominate the menu, but the restaurant also offers chicken wings, salads and cinnamon bread sticks.
