Ok I haven't had my hair done in a year. I have moved around a lot and I don't trust hairstylists for reasons like this... so I put it off. Finally my husband insisted I spend the ridiculous amount of money because he wanted it done well and for me to love it. Instead I spent over $200 and I hate it. I went in with mid back length blond hair and came out with a "posh" hair cut..... I wanted it shorter. I wanted it in the middle of my neck and said specifically 4 times that I needed to be able to pull it back and I got the opposite of that. I cant pull any part of it back... its about 4 inches shorter than I asked for... not to mention it took 4 1/2 hours and she washed my hair like you would clothes on a washboard... and left me sitting there for 5 mintues.... (those sinks are so uncomfortable especially if you're tall) If I wanted to waste $200 and hate my hair I would have gone to a SuperCuts and tipped them $150 extra dollars. I'll NEVER go back there.

Excellent hair

I'm very particular about my hair and it's hard to find someone I can trust. Several months ago I met a woman who had one of the nicest haircuts I've ever seen. When I asked her where she gets her hair done, she said the only person she's trusted with her hair for the past 5 years was Keoni who is now at the Fix. I don't live near Kailua, but thought it would be worth a try. I'm glad that I did. Keoni seemed to know what to do with my hair before I sat down. The cut was flawless and I feel beautiful once again. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment!

Great salon outside of Honolulu

I have recently moved to the area and used City Search as a way to find a salon. Being the first time, I was very nervous, but it turned out to be a great place. I chose Jamie through another review and he was FABULOUS. He did exactly what I asked him to and confirmed through statements or questions about what I wanted. The salon, itself, is clean, contemporary and a lot of parking around the building. If you still aren't sure this is the salon for you, visit it for yourself and get a consult before trying it out. I guarantee you will walk away a believer.
