The Scene
This resort is a pleasant place with a low-key, quiet feel. It's not opulent or glitzy, but its dependable quality certainly ranks it among the favorites on the island.

The Details
The huge property boasts an ideal location on a nice Kauai beach. It also offers all the amenities one would expect from a major resort, including an enormous swimming pool complex with something of interest for every age group. Unlike any other on Kauai, this pool perches on the edge of the property overlooking the ocean. The hotel is less expensive than some of its competitors, while still offering lovely grounds and comfortable rooms. There is a spa for pampering treatments. Among several restaurants, Naniwa serves Japanese cuisine, while Shells' Steak and Seafood is self-explanatory.
