A life guard told us about this beach when we left Sandy Beach due to deangerously high winds and waves that was only suitable for surfers. To me, this is the best beach in Oahu. The bay is probably ten times wider than Hanauma Bay and the water is beatifully green. There is at least 150 feet of white sands running along the beach. The park has full facilities and fresh warter showers. Parking is free and spaces are plentiful. The best feature is the picnic benches under rows of shaded tree before the sands for the UV-phobia folks. Do not miss this beach!
