Arrogance About Ukuleles.
While visitng Hawaii, and being an avid uke player, I was told to buy an ukulele in Hawaii from the very people who would know it the best. Well, that may be true, but I wouldn't know, for the lady working that day, could not find it in herself to walk around the counter to help me. She had an arrogance and a look about her that said, "These ukes are expensive, and you don't look like someone who wants to buy one." Even asking her some questions, she gave short and curt answers. Well, little did she know, but a potential buyer left her store and is now sharing the negative experience.
