Twice a week.... I love local favorites and high quality. Compadres would fall somewhere in between. Some days they are packed with the hottest (yet un-snobby) local/college grads in town, those days unfortunately are usually only on special nights when the tequila is flowing and the music is humming. I've found a good buy almost every day that I've been and can't believe that the younger 21 to 24 crown would go anywhere else. PEOPLE WE'RE TALKING $1 MARG's HERE!!! Plus Compadres finds a happy home in between the favorite neighborhood dive bar and the uber-expensive in Waikiki. I like that I can meet up with friends and watch Hawaii kick butt, or hang out with the ladies for glamorous evening out..... ladies your shoes don't even slip on their floor!!! Drink prices fall right in line with the other places in Ward and the bartender told me they have tequila specials all month! The pupu menu is nice, good stuff even us girly girls can nibble on and not get all gross and sloppy. Plus the guys seemed to be going to town on taco tuesday... I have to say their tacos are the biggest and best this side of Honolulu. I'm not a big fan of the guac, every time I get it it's a little different, but the layer dip & nachos rock. Service can go one way or the other, we had a girl about a week ago that seemed like she had better things to do, but that was really the only bad experience I've had their. Oh and like a lot of places they do have independent bathroom staff. The lady is so sweet so make sure you have a buck or two to give to her! See you guys their!!!!!!!

JAMMIN!. This was the best service and liveliest place in town on a Friday night! We had so much FUN! The MARGARITAS were OUTSTANDING! The live music from Kalaeloa was AMAZING! The people were friendly and the food was GOOD! My friends and I were so pleased and had such a GREAT time we will be back next week for our other friends birthday!!!

Best of the Best. The food was spectacular and the prople are very very friendly! I have to get my fill at least once a week! Further more talk about deals!!!! My dollar goes a long way! Thanks Compadres!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ONO!. My family and I have NEVER been so full! We had such a GREAT time. The place was jumping and looked like everyone else was having some fun! My kids got balloons! My drink was full at all times! No worries! Compadres get the nicest workers everybody was TOP SHAPE! Right ON!

Hot Tamales!. All I have to say is that the food is GREAT! The people were so friendly and GOOD LOOKING!!! It was a pleasent surprise to hear music going on a Thursday night? We ended up staying til close and had a WONDERFUL time. Macho Nachos are to die for with lots and lots of jalapenos and pitchers of Li Hing Margaritas!!! Thanks Compadres! Although it was interesting to see that the decor is definitely back in the 70's. The colors are a bit drab with some renovations screaming at you!

Friendly People / Mi Amigos. I have to say that I met some really really friendly people! In the mood for some GREAT mexican food you really need to try Compadres. Further more lots and lots of specials it kind of caught me off guard! The staff has got it going on as well!

It is always nice when you are able to feel welcomed and entertained at the same time. It was a VERY warm and cozy feeling! Thanks Compadres! MI AMIGOS!

PaZaZZZZZ!!!! LOVED IT!!!!. Beautiful people! The managers are friendly, the service outstanding, the food muy bien! Thanks to the staff my family and I had a wonderful time!!! I can't wait to go back for there new upcoming specials!!!

Talk about SERVICE!!!!. These guys really know how to put it together! This was my most fantastic expirience EVER! People are friendly, food was spectacular, drinks are MONEY! Aptmoshere a little out dated though but the over all expirience was a BLAST!!! You gotta check this place out! They don't miss a beat! They just got it!

Mexican food a NO GO!. If you know anything about authentic mexican food, this is NOT it! The rice tasted like it was made from a box, the food tasted horrible, and the margaritas were expensive! Not to mention, the service was horrible too! We had to ask to be seated, ask if we could order drinks, and then we had to ask someone if we could order. Then our waiter disappeared, and we had to ask for our Check from someone else.
