Alright so maybe my experience was the exception...but I loved this place! I had prepared myself after reading the reviews, but needed to check it out for myself. Long story short, I found my wedding dress there and ended up renting it because overall it would've been cheaper and let's face it...What the heck do people do with their dresses afterwards anyway? Besides store it for 20 years to have your daughter tell you that she doesn't want to wear it for her wedding. So I got my dress, shoes, necklace, earrings, tiara and veil for me...AND my groom's tux for a reasonable price. All of that together costed me less than what I would've paid just for the dress if I had bought it (it was a Maggie Sottero).

Anyway, from my first visit to the subsequent ones for fittings etc., the girls and the owners (yes, even the man that is consistently referred to as "rude") were always attentive and friendly. I can see how he could be misunderstood, but I appreciate honesty and straightforwardness. I welcomed his comments. They accomodated my every request and even allowed us to return everything late, with no extra charge, as we were getting married in another state. Yes, the girls come in the dressing room with you, but it's to HELP YOU not ogle you. Last time I checked, we all had the same goods.

I went a total of 5 times through browsing, fittings, pickup and dropoff. I saw the dog ONCE. And it was sleeping in the corner. It doesn't smell like dog either. You wouldn't even know it was there if not for the bowl of food and water.

Stop being a Bridezilla ladies and enjoy YOUR experience IN the dress. Never mind all the nonsense stuff.

I give this place 5 stars only because of the cute variety of prom dresses they have here! Before coming here, I had gone to a numerous number of prom dress stores that have only little selection of the 'modern' dresses that are popular nowadays. Walking into here, I IMMEDIATELY saw tons of potential prom dresses that I wanted to try on at that very moment. After reading the previous reviews here on Yelp, I agree that some things in this store are quite strange (especially the dog that I ALMOST stepped on only because it looked like a carpet rug and the strange guy that sits by the dressing room and just rambles) but dresses wise, they have beautiful prom dresses here! I didn't get the male associate that everyone's talking about here, but I got a young female associate who really helped me out in picking my dress. The lighting at the dress room is nice because it really highlights your features and they have trying-on shoes in many sizes that makes you more comfortable. Overall, I love Princess Brides and would come back again!

It was my first day wedding dress shopping and I actually walked in instead of making an appointment. Surprisingly they were nice enough to take me in. Irene listened and picked out a couple dresses she thought I would like. She treated me like a princess and that is how all brides should feel like when coming into a bridal shop. I did find an absolutely fabulous dress that can potentially be "THE DRESS" but since it was my first shop I went to I decided not to take it just yet. If I don't find a dress from any other shops I go to, I will for sure be back to buy that dress I tried on from Princess Brides. Amazing customer service!

Your advice backed by many years of experience made the decision-making process seamless, and your affordable wedding packages were very appealing.

We received numerous compliments from family, friends, our photographers, and strangers. Many people have asked how long it took me to find my wedding dress and I quickly replied, "It only took me one day, just visit Irene at Princess Brides on Kapiolani!".

Blaine and I had the destination wedding of our dreams on a beautiful sunny day at the gorgeous Caesars Palace, and much of that we owe to your involvement.

I want to Thank You so much for your great hospitality and professionalism. You really have such incredible talent just by looking at person to find the right size and shape and being on point about a fixed budget.

I honestly was skeptic at first about renting and then when I found that the first dress wasn't the "one" it took a second time around and you found such an incredible dress I truly fell in love with and decided to buy! Only bad part was the day of the wedding while tying me up into the dress, my matron of honor broke the top loops of the dress that I had to be pinned in to have the dress tightened! I really was a wreck! But as the day went by, it really was such a beautiful dress that everyone else seem to love it too! I really thank you and your staff for everything! I truly will recommend Princess Brides to my friends! Thank You and God bless!

Me and my bridesmaids look very happy with what we are wearing. When I got the first gowns that I have made in the Philippines, I just had to replace them, get it redone. I am so glad Princess brides came into my mind, it was the right place and the perfect dress!! I loved my dress! I have received a lot of compliments from our guests. Even my bridesmaids are very happy with theirs. I can't thank you enough for all the help and suggestions you've given me.. You and your staff are more than accomodating. You helped me made the dresses 1 less to worry about for the wedding..
