What People Are Saying About Chart House Honolulu Lounge

In Short – Founded in 1961 in Colorado, Chart House now has more than 25 U.S. locations. The restaurants, many of which occupy historic buildings, draw on the local region's natural features, making each one unique. Fresh fish and seafood dominate the menu with offerings like jumbo lump crab cakes, mahi mahi and Australian lobster tail. For landlubbers, there's prime rib, filet mignon and N.Y. strip steak. Sweet finishes include hot chocolate lava cake and raspberry creme brulee.

a Gem
by Anothertraveler at Citysearch
I'm giving this 4 stars as I hate seafood and the steak was pretty good but they arent a steakhouse so I have to deal. Love the view and the ambiance, pricey but this is expected in this area. I would go back again sooner if there wasn't so many places to try nearby !
Honolulu Chart House

Not good, food, service, beverages, or location.
I went becasue of the name, only to find out this location is not part of the US chain. It is also not any good.
I ordered a beer, which was served warm. I sent it back only to have the same results 5 minutes later. The barteendar came over to ask about the issue and after I explained she said "we get that alot". This was an omen I should have left. I ordered the garlic steak special and soup. The steak had so much garlic it was bitter and unpleasant to eat. For a $45 entree I was surprised at the poor quality. The waiter offered sympathy, but no more.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Great Pub by the water

Located right next to the Hawaii Prince Hotel by the wharf, this is a nice find. We went on a Thursday night and the place was full, yet it didn't feel overly crowded. The service here was great and everyone is really friendly.
We got seated by the open windows and the local band made it a great way to start off the evening.
Food here is good, but more on the end of a Pub. If you're looking for that Romantic dinner spot to get dressed up for this isn't the place. It's very casual here.
I recommend getting the French Onion Soup. It's actually one of the better ones I've had in a long long time.
- Pros: Hidden Gem, Afternoon and Late Night Menu are a good value
Delicious and deserving

My husband and I chose to eat at the Chart House for one of our nice evenings out. We were seated at a nice, quaint table right on the edge of the dining room at an open window overlooking the marina. Our server was one of the top 5 waiters I've ever had and the food was delicious. I had a wonderful Live Main Lobster with delicious sides. I am quite a picky person when it comes to restaurants and I would definitely recommed the Chart House.
- Pros: Food, Window seat view, Service
- Cons: , Parking
Don't miss the sunset
by manoagirl at Citysearch
This is a great place to catch the sunset, whether you go for cocktails and special appetizer prices from the vast menu(soft shell crab, calamari, oysters rockefeller) or dinner. Many seafood choices, plus steaks, killer prime rib, and chicken, along with vegetarian choices. Dinners come with freshly baked squaw bread, thick and tasty New England clam chowder or salad, starch, and vegetable. Overlooking the marina, with hundreds of sailboats bobbing in the ocean, sipping a Merlot, it dawned on me that I live in paradise.
- Pros: Gorgeous view, Large selection, Ample parking
