Mt Favorite Sunday Brunch. An excellent place to take out of town visitors and a great local meeting for a casual fun outdoor restaurant hang out. Who can deny the ambiance of a beach with hot surfers and a relaxing outdoor open ambiance.

The food is OK but the service and attention makes it worthwhile. A great place to introduce a new visitor to the islands.

Best Breakfast View in Hawaii. I only come here for breakfast and always take guests from out of town who eventually always come here when they return. The food is alright. I wish they had a little more offerings for breakfast since this seems to be their largest seating.

But who can complain with a nice view of the beach and hunks going for an early morning swim.

The wait people there are very friendly and the food is always consistent.

One of the best spots to see a sunset on the island, served up with a scrumptious meal under a giant banyan tree.. In Short
Lilting sounds of steel guitar and swaying trade winds serenade you while you take in the most spectacular sunset on Oahu. Romantic couples come just to soak up the purple and orange hues of the setting Hawaiian sun. Located in the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel, the beachfront patio overlooks the tiny but beautiful Sans Souci beach, a picturesque backdrop any time of day. In addition to the incredible ambience, healthy, locally blended cuisine with a low-fat twist is the draw. Seafood is a staple of the chef's creations, including seared garlic herb ahi, and a catch of the day that can be crusted with crab. Vegetable dishes combined with couscous are blended to perfection. For a quick bite, grab a Mai Tai at the bar and munch on fried tarot pupu while you listen to the rhythm of traditional Hawaiian music.

Best breakfast on the beach. Our family enjoyed a wonderful breakfast while dining in the remarkable setting of this restuarant. We had a reservation for breakfast that we were almost late for by half an hour due to traffic. The host was very understanding and when he realized how far we had come he asked us if we would like to wait a few more minutes for a beach side table.... which we did. The breakfast was wonderful. Great pancakes with coconut syrup that the kids enjoyed and the best eggs benadict that I have ever had. Although the traditional eggs benedict is offered I opted for the poached salmon on a cheddar dill scone version instead. It was heaven. My husband had a seafood omlet that he also enjoyed. It took us a bit to get our check at the end of the meal, but nothing that I would have let alter a great breakfast experience. I would highly recommend this restuarant, for the food, as well as the view.

Waste of an evening in Hawaii. After many accolades and recommendations, we visited the Hau Tree Lanai on a week-long trip to Honolulu. We had reservations as the reviews say, but we still waited 45 minutes for a table. This table was one they set up since they were severely overbooked. It was a cozy table sandwiched between the drink station and a large trash can. Hopes that the food would make the evening were soon dashed as the salads and entrees came out wrong and were about an hour and fifteen minutes in arriving at the table. Our experience lasted about three hours and was honestly the worst three hours of the trip. Hopefully we just caught them on a bad night, but we will not return.
