Three of us had fish and it was excellent. The ahi tuna was great. Service was very attentive and prices were on par with other cities. Right in the heart of everything. Watch where you sit at sunset - it can get quite blinding if you have to face it.
Family fun. My husband and I went to Duke's several times during our visit in Wikiki, once for lunch and once for dinner. Duke's provides a nice, relaxing yet upbeat atmosphere on the beach that's great for kids too. There is indoor, patio and outdoor seating for dinner and indoor and patio seating for lunch. I recommed that you visit Duke's during your stay for a casual meal or for drinks in a fun, laid-back environment.
Waikiki's Best. Duke's is a great restaurant. When my family goes to Hawaii we end up eating here more than anywhere else. The food and drinks are excellent and as everyone will tell you the view is great.
Good Restaurant. Dukes was a good restaurant. We eat out and travel extensively and it was middle of the road. They have a self service salad bar which is nice, if you like that. The food was good, but not great.
The Place to be. Jeeze, talk about a beautiful sunset. This place should definately be named beach bar of the year. Thing to order, the Lava Flow...So yummy. Enjoy a nice dinner or lunch on the indoor/outdoor patio. Waitstaff are super friendly. Sometimes service is a bit slow, but let's face it, unless you're catching a movie, or on lunch break, take it easy relax and take it slow. Great location, of course, but there is a market place just across the street. Very Nice.
Hawaii's Finest. If your looking for beautiful sunsets as you sip down your cosmo, Dukes is the place. Popular for tourists and locals alike, Duke's offers music, food, and beer. Right on the beach you can watch the sunset as the surfers paddle in or listen to the beautiful Hawaiian music being played.
Sundays at Duke's. You have got to get there on Sunday afternoons. Its a perfect scene: Live Hawaiian music, dancing, and a barefoot bar all the while the sunset over the Waikiki shoreline is your backdrop. Whether you are visiting for the first time or just catching up with old friends, this is the place.
