good enough for those who comes here not for hotels.
First of all, when we travel - we are trying to see as much as we can, and by this I mean the places, cities, museums, beaches etc, NOT the hotels - they are pretty much the same everywhere...
So, after reading all the scary reviews on Yelp, I felt really bad for booking this hotel ( which I did because of an amazingly cheap package deal). BUT!!! after I actually saw this place - I was totally satisfied!!! The building is not that all, all elevators were working perfectly, we were on 23rd floor and never waited for more than a 2 min. OK, the room was small, but are you gonna play golf in there? you come just to crush over night, so in the morning you are ready to go sightseeing!!! the bathroom was clean, towels also clean, if you want to change them - just throw them on the floor by the entrance door, they have a save green program, which is very good by the way.
Parking....of course, where are you gonna find free parking in WAikiki??? maybe at Trump hotel, but there the price for your room already includes your expenses for that....
So, if you come to Honolulu for sightseeing, not in-hotel-sitting, save some money, stay there.
Wow really great value for a great place. I was very impressed by this place from the moment we drove up. It has a lovely open lobby with a fish pond and marble floors. We got a rate of $55 so we were expecting a Hawaii version of a MOTEL 8. But this was far better than we expected, we thought we had the wrong place. There was all kinds of stores, and features, a great restaurant and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was totally new, small but adequate and very clean. The AC was nice and cool and the staff was friendly. I would say this was one of the best budget hotels we have ever stayed at hands down.
Great place for the price.
Stayed here for 8 nights. Had an upgrade to an King size room with an Ocean view room on the 42nd floor with kitchennette looking towards Diamond Head.
I would recommend staying here if you don't mind walking a few extra blocks for the beach.
