Got a manicure and pedicure from this cute little place right outside of Waikiki last weekend and had a great experience, I just had to share. The place was much larger than it looks from the outside and really enjoyed the gal that did my nails. Thought the price was reasonable and the service was great! It's a local place and they treat you like family. Would highly recommend it to my all my girlfriends. Gonna go back for a massage and facial next weekend. Kehau

After a very long week on my feet, i let my fingers do some quick work online and came across the Ho'onani website; what looked like a beautiful, full-service salon... I couldn't have been more wrong. Not only was the salon not what i expected (it was dirty, sloppy and totally unprofessional... The bathroom has a curtain as a door!), but the woman who was to do my pedicure (the owner?) could be described in the exact same manner. I decided to just close my eyes and enjoy the treatment, but the grew increasing difficult as I was forced to soak up her endless, crass chatter. The pedicure was done with little attention to detail, I could have done a better job at home. I've worked in the service industry for yearts and this was a total disappointment.
