PLEASE IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOUR HAIR.... Claire is my esthetician... the best Hawaii has to offer! Tsulan does my nails and people, let me tell you, you don't know what you are missing! I have my color done with a few different people and I have never been disapointed! If you are looking for a salon, this is the place to go, however I miss my FAVORITE HAIRSYLIST JAYMI, she moved to LA and what I here is rocking the big city. Claire knows where she is if you need to see the best hairstylst in LA. I want to tell everyone that I am very picky and I know that if I OR YOU want anything done right you won't be disapointed I promise. I am in sales and I only promote the best.

Great cut and compliments that I never had. First stylist I went to was the $35 variety....I tried for 3 mos and decided to switch. A friend had suggested Michelle. She is the styling teacher from what I understand. She is a GREAT. I've been going for about 18 mos. and get lots of compliments now on hair that was never mentioned. I've found 'my girl'. Unfortunately the prices keep going up. Don't know how much longer I'll be able to keep Michelle. I haven't had problems with waiting. They are friendly as well. Would recommend their work but it's not cheap.

Know what you want before going in.. Perhaps it was because my stylist was new. I'm not sure. At Marsha Nadalin, stylists start out charging $35, and as they draw more clients in their pay gets higher. The lady at the front desk said they all went through the same training, so I went to a $35 stylist. It started out nicely. She introduced herself and shook my hand, and asked what she could do for me. I asked her for her input on what to do with my hair.

"What can I do for you today?"

"Well, I actually wanted to know what you suggest."

"ME?!!"

Right then I should have gotten up and left.

I TOLD HER THAT I DID NOT LIKE THE CUT THAT I HAD.

I wanted her straight up opinion without my opinion first, but she kept pushing questions about layering and length. All the while she was messing up my hair, flipping it from one side to another, tangling it horribly might I add.

My cut ended up looking the same with no visible difference. I could have gone to SuperCuts.

If I had known first what I wanted, then maybe this could have been avoided. But I had the idea that stylists were trained to make their client look good, so I just went on with that. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Wonderful. The best place to go for color, cut, and nails. By far the best color on the island. A full set may be pricey but there is a huge difference between Marsha Nadalin and an inexpensive place.
