The food here is down-home, local food! I enjoyed everything I tried there. They make a great hamburger steak and the pancakes are good . . . and this is from someone who rarely eats pancakes! Seating is hard to come by especially if you have large groups since they only have a small counter. Cocoa puffs (chocolate cream puffs) are EXCELLENT!

And I'm not kidding. No matter what, I'm ordering at least a dozen cocoa puffs (chocolate filled cream puffs with chantilly icing on top..pure heaven). Suprisingly enough though, as good as their pastries and desserts are, their hamburgers are fries are perfect too! The burger is a size that I can handle, without feeling as though I ate a half a pound of beef. The bakery is definitely busy but the women who work here (many of whom have worked here for years and years) are so very helpful and will get you out of there as quickly as possible. I hope this bakery never leaves us.
Pros: pastries, burgers, coffee, COCOA PUFFS!
