Avoid this school - Instructor abuse. After several months of lessons here, my five year old daughter complained to me that an Instructor hurt her by squeezing her arm, apparently for not paying attention in class. (Note I was at the lesson and she was not being disruptive to the class).

When I took the issue to the head of the Swim School, his reaction was to refund our money and ask us to not return to the school.

Perhaps there are parents who do not mind Instructors assaulting their First graders and using corporal punishment. This school and their reaction to this abuse issue in unsatisfactory.

I actively recommend people avoid this school.

Junk.. I took my kid here for a while, and they didn't learn much. I spent too much dough on these lessons and found that they are stuffed in over crowded classes and not given enough time to learn.

Looking for a new school/instructor for my kid. This place is JUNK!!!!

Waste of your $$. Don't waste your money. They have no make up days even if the kids are sick and frankly, all they do is splash around the pool with the kids. Their is no actual lesson going on, my kids are not water proof and it should be a crime for them to take your money. Please, please, please stay away...

I am taking my kids elsewhere...

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Terrible...Over priced. Kids took lessons there for over a year and they barely have any swimming skills. Don't waste your time, your kids' time or your money...

Great Swim School. My daughter has been taking swimming lessons from Leahi Swim School for ~3 years. She started out being afraid of the water and now she is able to swim in 8ft of water and jump in the pool with no problems. The instructors are all very knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly. They always have a smile on their face. The owner, Ben Komer, is top notch. He is always at the pool and is always accessible. He is very professional, sociable and very accountable. He is always trying to find ways to better his program.

Leahi Swim School is Excellent!. Leahi Swim School has been wonderful for our grandchildren. They have been taking lessons for 4 years now, since they were 9 months old. The classes are small (not more than 5 children with 2 instructors), so the instructors give the children a lot of attention and make the lessons fun, as well as challenging!

Leahi Swim School is the reason our grandchildren love to swim!

We Love Leahi. My kids love leahi. They always look foreword to their next class. Their teachers pushed them to work at their maximum potential, while also moving at their own comfortable rate. My kids have a blast whenever they come to class. We love their teachers. They're fun, exciting, energetic, and really seem to enjoy their job. At the end of our first session, my son asked me "Mommy, am I going to have Aunty again next time?" and on graduation day, he started to cry when his teacher told him that today was the last day of class. We love leahi!!!!

very overpriced. NOT kid friendly. Dont waste your money here. Go to the YMCA and save over 1/2 the cost. my kids took lessons for 3 years, and they still cant do free style. also, These guys are all about money. nickel and dime for every little thing.
