Best pad thai on the island. Thai Valley Cuisine is truly a hidden gem. Tucked away in a little mall in Kalama Valley, this is a wonderful place to get inexpensive, delicious Thai food. Particular standouts are the pad thai, which offers just the right balance of flavors -- sweet, salty, spicy, and sour -- as well as the vegetarian summer rolls, which are fresh and pair nicely with the dipping sauce they provide. The curries are also particularly good. This is a small, family-owned restaurant, and personal touch and friendly, courteous service truly make you feel as if you are "visiting friends."

Gone Terribly Downhill. My family and I were regulars there for years. The food is/was yummy. We would dine there 2-3 times a month consistently. However, the food and service has become inconsistent as of September 2009. The service has gone way downhill. Our last visit in November 2009 was the fourth visit in a row with terrible service. I mean absolutely terrible! We let the owner know right then and the waiter's response was not apologetic, but rather "too bad." We let them know we will not patron their establishment ever again. I would not be surprised if they close down within the next 6 - 12 months at this rate.
