I had my safety inspection done here last year- no problems. This year I went to get it done and they said that my Tiburon had been lowered and I needed a special permit or they wouldn't pass me. They wouldn't even inspect me. Every tiburon I have ever seen looked like that- and someone who claims to be an auto repair shop should know that... but for the record-- I had several second opinions- all stating my car was not lowered. I measured my car myself and got about 52". The factory height of my car is 52.3". So allowing for the slight margin of human error- my car is factory height.

HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO TO SPEED STOP!

I WAS BASICALLY RIPPED OFF, INCONVENIENCED AND STRESSED OUT. RECEIVED A PRICEY OIL CHANGE @ $47.00. THEY DID NOT PUT THE OIL FILTER ON TIGHTLY ENOUGH AND ALL OF THE OIL LEAKED OUT OF THE CAR. I HAD TO SEE SEARS FOR ASSISTANCE SINCE SPEED STOP HAD ALREADY CLOSED BY THE TIME I REALIZED WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I PAID SEARS THE PRICE OF ANOTHER OIL CHANGE WHICH WAS ABOUT $10 LESS THAN SPEED STOP TO TIGHTEN THE OIL FILTER AND FILL THE OIL. I WENT BACK TO SPEED STOP FOR MY REFUND, WAS DENIED AND INFORMED THAT I VOIDED MY WARRANTY BY SEEING ANOTHER AUTOSHOP. I HAD A DETAILED RECEIPT FROM SEARS TO PROVE THAT I HAD AN OIL LEAK WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS OF THEIR SERVICE. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND HAVE TOLD ALL OF MY FRIENDS ABOUT THEIR HORRIBLE SERVICE. I HAVE SINCE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUS. BUREAU AND MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. YOU CAN ALSO SEE MY DETAILED REVIEW ON YELP.
