A Great Neighborhood Family Pub

Take a British or Irish Pub and convert it to Hawaii- Pacific Island style and you have Pinky's. As well traveled patrons of restuarants around the world my husband and I give Pinky's a recommendation as a family style pub with average to excellent fare. The carrot cake compares favorably to the best in the country, whi ch is at Gibson's in Chicago). They lost a great cajun salmon when chef Ola left. Tuesday Balloon night is great fun for the kids and Marines and families alike are comfortable in this friendly neighborhood pub.

Denny's By A Different Name

The food here is not very good. It's basically Denny's grade food but at a higher price. The drinks are good and the desserts look really good but the main courses are nothing to get excited about. So just go sit in the bar and have a dessert with your Mai Tai.
