Go on a Monday for 20% off your Food Total. I'm not sure when the other reviewers visited Lucy's, but my 2 visits have been very good. In fact, I'm hoping to go again this weekend. The first night was a Friday, and my party was seated right away without reservations. I had the herb-crusted fresh fish (demi-size) and the Arugula salad (demi-sized)

LOVE the fact that you can order smaller-sized portions. This should tell you how big the normal portions are!. The next time, I went on a Monday and enjoyed the 20% off food special.

Recommendation: Order an appetizer as your meal. They're huge! We had great service both times.

UNPOPULAR FOR GOOD REASON. Portions are small and uninspired esp considing the pricing..Management is unwelcoming. The pizza tastes like crackers with cheese. The ahi tower is tiny . Everything else is ordinary to bad.

Get off the sauce. Hey Lucy's employees... GET OFF THE SAUCE. Translation: stop snorting the white stuff while you're working. Seriously, its that obvious.

A Kailua Taste Sensation. Having lived on Oahu I understand how difficult it can be to locate a high quality restaurant outside of Waikiki. Lucy?s Bar and Grill in the small town of Kailua is a great find. The restaurant?s atmosphere, service, and food are all incomparable. Dine inside or out, the front patio is enclosed with greenery and well-lit tiki?s. Inside is a sense of space among the various fresh water fish tanks. The Calamari Steak ? not rings, but ?steak? - is delicious, something I tend to find only in Hawaii. I ordered the fresh fish of the day, Mahi Mahi, prepared grilled and outstanding. Service is very attentive, timely, and accurate. Be sure to enjoy a Pineapple Martini, it goes down extremely well! I highly recommend Lucy?s Bar and Grill for a high quality meal in a casual atmosphere. There is nothing like it in Kailua - make sure to secure a reservation ahead of time.
