Fantastic Sushi recommended by Oahu ExPatriate. I lived on Oahu for 6 years, and my wife and I ate at this place as often as we could. The staff was always friendly, and the food was always great.

We particularly liked this place because it was small, authentic and very japanese - it seemed a favorite of the local kine japanese folks. I suppose a downside may be that there are not many options if you don't want sushi (ie don't expect teryaki beef or something), but if you like good fresh stuff, this is the place.

To be perfectly honest, I actually joined city search so I could add a positive vote to follow up that very negative first review. It made me sad to see that someone had a bad experience there, and that that may be all that anyone reads about this place. I'm sure I ate there no less then 30 times, and ALWAYS enjoyed it.

Bad service, bad food. Very disappointing- actually, a disaster. We heard good things about this restaurant, so we looked forward to a good sushi experience. When we arrived, the hostess was curt and rude, and the waiter was not much better. We had Hirame, Ika, Anago, Maguro and Shitaki rolls. Some of the food tasted a little strange, but we ate it anyway. About an hour afterwards, we both threw up!! On top of all that, the waiter tried to overcharge us!!! Stay away from this place like the plaque!!
