Molly's is going downhill, imo.. I would give Molly's a higher rating, but 9 of the 10 times or so my family's been there, there's always a problem where we don't get our food or drinks. I am from TX, and this is good tasting food to me. The service (due to cutting corners in cost maybe??) isn't so good. Though the waitresses are nice in general, I haven't gotten bread the last 3-4 times I ate there (including today). Every other table (about 5-6) around got bread except mine and one other. We pretty much have accepted this as the norm there, so no biggie. The final straw that made me annoyed came when I asked for a refill at the register with my dinner cup in-hand, and the waitress told me I'd have to pay for a to-go cup. I guess she thought I wanted a refill to go. But, as said, I had my cup in my hand from my meal, and I'd plainly said, "May I have a refill, please." She hadn't ever given me one during the meal, and I was pretty parched. The cups aren't large, but barely average-sized. In retrospect, I'd tell her that I still have food particles in my mouth, as my teeth are over-crowded, and I can't really afford braces. I think she'd give me my free refill then. Oh, and during our meal my husband and a lady at another table asked for refills and got them; the restaurant allows free refills with the meal. You just better make sure to ask for one before that last bite at your table. I wish they'd relax a bit there. The portion sizes are getting smaller there, too, for the same price as always. I think they are peaked at their business, and it will take a downslide. Hopefully I'm wrong, as good TX food was hard to find my last 10 years in HI. correction - my hubby just told me the owner was our waitress today. :o/

Ribs in Wahiawa. If you like ribs and brisket you will like this place. They give generous portions and there are always alot of military families from Schofield dining here so that should tell you something. The ribs are pretty decent and they have their own smoker out front. They have lots of sides here like beans, mac and cheese, collards, mashed potato and more. Parking is a little hard. Don't park too far and walk. It is not located in the best part of Wahiawa.

Um Um GOOD yall!. Being a Texan who migrated to Hawaii one of the things I miss the most is good ol Texas BBQ. For a while I have been driving by Mollys and decided to stop in. Yee HAW! Brisket that melts in your mouth, BBQ sauce that add just the right amount of tang and that honest to goodness Texas service you can only get from a true Texan. The prices were reasonable and wait time wasnt too bad considering they had a full house. I picked up two pounds of Brisket and before I got back to Kapolei I had already been taste testing. If you miss BBQ, head over and see Molly!
