Don't get the chef's special. Stick to what you know!!. I recently ate dinner at the Ocean House and was lured into trying the Chef's Special (Swordfish with some kind of mango sauce) by the waitress. It sounded great, but tasted like something I could have paid $5 for at Long John Silvers. The waitress asked how my food was and I told her it wasn't very tasty. She did nothing about it at that point, which was a little unsatisfying. The scenery of the Ocean House was perfect, right on the beach. The service was also very good. We were seated rather quickly, always had fresh water, and the food was ready in no time at all. My wife had the seafood linguine and was satisfied with her dinner, but wasn't thoroughly impressed by it either. All in all I paid $100 to sit and eat dinner on the beach. I should have just bought a Subway sandwich and had dinner on the sand (same view with much more money left over for sights and attractions).
