Awesome dinner, great experience and great location. Bought the complete dinner and a pitcher of beer... was an excellent experience with great service.... I ended up tipping more than usual. Dinner was worth every dollar. Cozy tables. Pleanty of places to go afterward. Looking forward to going there again with friends!!!!!

Traditional meets modern in this dining room that buzzes with excitement--perhaps from the anticipation of playing with an open grill. This Asian chain lets you have fun with your tongs. Transfer the fresh, uncooked bites of meat to your own charcoal-powered grill. Tender kalbi (short ribs), briny shrimp and half a dozen other meats are doused in ta're, the usual soy sauce-based sweet marinade; shio, a salty sesame secret sauce; or miso.

I love Gyu-Kaku. I lived in Japan for ten years and used to go to Gyu-Kaku to eat almost twice a week. I came back to hawaii and was surprised they made Gyu-Kaku here. This place was even better than Japan and I highly recommend everyone to go there. You must try their Harami Miso and the Kobe Beef. I will definitely be going back tomorrow!!!
