I had been looking for a wedding dress for months, and couldn't find one I liked which also fit me. I was only a few weeks out from the wedding date when I found Watanabe Dressmaking. I took them an old but favorite dress of mine, and they made me the most beautiful wedding dress for a fraction of what it would have cost me for one of those awful things available in my price range! The business is hidden away in a tiny old building in the University part of town, but don't let that put you off. The workmanship on my dress was top of the line (efficient fittings, finished seams, straight hem, perfect button holes, etc.) and it fit perfectly. Most of all, they will keep the finished pattern of my dress on hand so that more can be made in this favorite style of mine. And the price was great! I would have paid much, much more, but with all the costs of the wedding, I am so glad I didn't have to. This business is a real gem!
