Be aware!! – Needed work on my fridge and dryer. He will always op for the most EASIEST and most EXPENSIVE way and try to fix it. Which usually does not fix the problem since that is not the problem. He replaced 2 main parts of my dryer and it still wasn't fixed. And he again said he needs to replace another part. This whole process took more than 5 months. He replaces one thing and disappears until I call my rental management company to find out what is going on. Then he calls back. I tried many many times to contact him he never answers and if he does he will say " yeah the part is coming next week it usually take about 2 weeks for the parts to come from the mainland". HELLO!! We've been @#%$% waiting for over a month. So finally got tired of this guy did my own research online about the dryer. I was able to fix my own dryer without replacing a single part and only took less than 30mins. Just had to get my hands a little dirty which Shane will NEVER do!!! Then I called him to tell him about it he argues with me that he told me to do what I had done after he replaced the parts. Which he never said a word of because he said needed to replace another part. Then he hangs up the phone in the middle of the conversation. What a professional. With the amount of money spent I could of bought another dryer. Did I also say I needed a fridge fixed. Its the same story. He replaced the control board and told me to see for couple of days. It still wasn't fixed. There he goes again. He suggests replacing another part of the fridge. So I got sick of this guy, finally got another technician he cleaned the back of the filter and washed the hoses and all and works fine without replacing a thing. So people do not become a victim of this guy like me. Watch out people. He also gets work order from OK appliance. So if they send you Shane RUN!
What a Jerk – About a year ago I contracted Shane through my rental agent to repair the washer/dryer in my condo unit. Instead he said he would replace it. He wanted payment up front in excess of $1200. After 6 months the unit had not been delivered inspite of constant call and certied mails sent to him. In the meantime, my condo was sold. Shane finally dumped off a unit after being threathened with legal action. BUT i had supposedly paid for a Whirlpool. instead he dumped off a GE that did not fit into the condo. I was told that I was LUCKY to have gotten ANYTHING at all from him. I reported him to the BBB, Consumer Protection and FTC. When I called the Police they said to contact those agencies since they did not handle those "complaints". I have been going to every site where he is listed to at least write a review on him and hopefully drive him out of business.
