Consolidated theatres is the largest act in Honolulu, they have numerous theatres here. The Ward 16 Theatre complex is pretty new, and is beautiful at night with their large white sail that covers the building's exterior front. The complex has 6 extreemely large theatres and 10 medium sized ones. All are stadium seating, and the seats are "loveseat" style and comfortable. The intro screen at all consolidated theatres in Hawaii is a thing not to be missed with Hula dancers and good music, overall tasteful and a great way to start each film. You will be hard pressed to find a theatre this nice anywhere else in Hawaii or the mainland. The only real downside is crowds on weekends, and high admission prices. If you are new to Hawaii try the Hurricane Mix from the concession stand with your popcorn, a great treat! :)
