Heaven it's not, Service not adequate, Receptionist did not give me a tour of the location. Employees are gossipy speaking negatively about the spa director in front of clients. Maybe a result of bad management. Holes on the towels. Facialist was great but massage was not so great. High turnover of staff in the 2 mos Ive tried their location. Seemed no choice in the downtown location. And oh ...services are overpriced.

Pros: Great Facialist

Cons: Dirty location, Employees emotional

The staff and service providers were very nice to me. My massage therapist made me feel comfortable since it was my first time. I will be returning soon!

Pros: Friendly Staff, Excellent Service, 2 Thumbs Up!

Cons: No Parking validation. Other location has valet parking service.

I see Melba for highlights and cuts and also brow waxing. She is a full-on artist and worth every penny of the cost. The location is good because it's in the same building where I work downtown - parking is not an issue for me. I love this place but I will say the staff - other than Melba - always seems a little less than what I expect. One other crazy thing - every time I purchase products there is a point where the person checking me out cannot find a price. It's nutty. Some products have the price right there on the item but inevitably I seem to choose one that doesn't. But for me - the pleasure of spending 2 hours in the professional calm of Melba totally outweighs the shortcomings of the staff. She is good therapy and my hair looks spectacular!!

Pros: Pleasant environment, worth the $ for Melba

Cons: checking in and out may not meet your expectations

I booked a facial treatment at the new Heaven on Earth Spa Club at Ward and while the place is absolutely beautiful, the staff was impersonal and gave me terrible service. The place was practically empty when I arrived and it is so hard to find in the building the receptionist had to come out and get me when I got dropped off. Since I was the last appt. (and probably only appt.) for that day, all the extra amenities like the pool, sauna, steam rooms, etc. were not going to be available to me (even though I was still paying for them, they charge more than the downtown location). The esthetician asked me some questions and I told her I wanted something calming and didn't want any extraction because I had a dinner that night and didn't want to have any irritation. But she still did it anyway and left red spots on my face. When she finished the service she just left me in the room and didn't return. I waited in the room for another 15 minutes before I decided to leave. The receptionist surprised that I was still there. Overall terrible service, I will not be back!

Pros: beautiful facility

Cons: not enough staff, cold, impersonal, poorly trained staff, should not charge more if they aren't going to allow use of facilities

I booked an appointment at Heaven on Earth to experience acupuncture. It was my first experience with acupuncture and it was fantastic! I wasn't sure what to expect but Cole was very professional, and made sure I felt comfortable throughtout the treatment. I wish I lived in the area so I could return to get acupuncture treatments with him again. I can't find anyone as good as him in the SF Bay Area.

I go here for my Brazilian and eye brow waxes. Melba is the ultimate waxer. She is quick, fast and thorough. I've gone with Jamie once, but she's not swift in pulling making for more pain - ouch. The prices are high, but worth if for Melba. She really is great. She can pull everything in 3 strokes if you're a regular. The receptionists are pretty friendly, but with an air of arrogance. The location is pretty convenient if you live or work downtown. However not so much if you don't, parking can be a pain in this neighborhood. Overall this is not a bad spa, it's definitely worth going if you find the right waxer, stylist or masseuse.

Cons: Parking

I just returned to the islands and remembering my experiences from the past with this place I went ahead and booked an appointment. What a mistake that was. I had a body wrap first which in and of itself is a good , but the girl who did it was sooooooo annoying. Everything was her "favorite" and she stopped and talked (loudly) to customers in the lounge area constantly which (call me snooty) ruined my relaxation. Plus after my wrap she did nothing to put the moisture back into my skin leaving me feeling dry, itchy, and ashey. The facialist was great. She was professional and didn't treat me like a buddy but a client who is about to drop __amount of dollars on a service that I expect to be done well, which she did. There was no talking, stupid giggles (unlike the girl that did my body wrap), and she seemed to be experienced (the Multi-Vitamin is fantastic if you have really dry skin). Last I got the purescription conditioning treatment and a trim. Time was an issue for me towards the end of the day so I skipped on getting any color. As I explained this to the stylist (who was decent and accomodating) the stylist next to us goes on and on about a treatment that I could get that would be cheaper (which wasn't even an issue) and while practically yelling at me tries to sell me product which I think is the salon's main goal. Understandable but really annoying when you just want to relax. My stylist backed off a bit once she realized I wasn't going to buy any stuff that day. They have very few services for different types of hair and quite frankly look petrified when I walk in which could be for a number a reasons (ahem). I understand this and tell them to please just trim it. There are very few places that do "black hair" here in Hawaii. Overall I like Aveda spa at Ala Moana 10X more. There was no chatter in the lounge area and it was easier to relax (very few employees just shuffling about while they ignore you like Heaven did). Heaven-Two thumbs down.

Pros: Treatments (especially the facials and conditionings) are great for the price

Cons: Alot of the staff was annoying and unattentive (I got lucky on the people I had)

Facial was not that great, seemed as if the facialist was new and inexperienced. Didn't like the products used and didn't really see or feel any difference in my skin. Facility is nice, but i would say overated. I won't be making the trip all the way down town to go here again. Pedicure was OK, cute setup with the chairs.

Pros: Nice facility

Cons: Wasn't satisfied with treatments

I thought the place and location was accessible, but the spa does not valitdate parking. The person was late by 9 mins and the 45min treatment was actually 32 mins. I wasn't to happy to leave her a $10.00 tip but I felt pressured in front of other clients since its was a verbal response and I wasn't told by the spa that I had to pay for parking. Instead of feeling good I felt lousy and robbed.

Pros: Nice establishment, friendly staff

Cons: don't validate, pricey

The staff was very friendly and professional. Priced reasonable and less than the Waikiki Spa price ranges with no sacrifice of service and atmosphere.
