I shop at Petland occasionally when I'm at the mall to get some dog supplies if I absolutely need it because they are quite pricey.

I also used to stop in to buy fishes because to be honest, they do have a pretty good selection. I bought a lot of goldfishes from them and eventually they just die. Within the month! I used to think it was because I did not know how to handle them or feed them correctly. I just kept going back to buy more. I eventually stopped because I was sick of throwing out dead fishes.

My friend confirmed the rumor that Petland was known to have sick fishes and that I shouldn't buy from them. Their store has a good selection for all types of species but maybe there is something in their water. There were also a few times when I stopped in and saw hand written notes on the tanks Sick Fishes.

I guess they sold them even when they were sick.

PROS: Good selection

CONS: Fishes not well cared for

They have everything here. I shop here often. Parking spaces too small. Good place to shop when pet is at the vet next door.
